Sullen Skies
the numerous threats of the meteorologists have finally come to fruition. its been raining most of the day but it still felt the sky suddenly descended, leaving the gloomy and oily atmosphere that indicates the skies are about to produce a storm. its a bit like feeling claustrophobic, standing in the eerie stillness waiting for natures anger to be released so the ceiling can again part and let the ground breath... despite darkness being universally synonymous with all things bad, its hard not to smile as i watch it all unfold and and feel natures fireworks shake the house. it seems the seasons transitions are not without the turbulence of change.

Feeling sorry for ourselves...
oh dear, for the second time each in two weeks we've both been feeling crummy. first i was ill last week but managed to struggle on at work, and then we both felt terrible on monday night and both missed work the next day which just so happened to be my birthday! booo.... and now poor sarah is feeling rotten again because of her rather protracted root canal saga which continues to give her pain and rob her of sleep. needless to say this doesn't leave her feeling particularly photogenic.... but she is beautiful all the same. simon.

Busy Weekend
So this weekend we have been super busy.
Friday night we went to see one of our friends who plays for leeds rhinos do his thing.
Then Yesterday we were busy on the farm weed killing and setting fires.
Simon likes to saw things! We also had to make a tent for the corn cos its a bit too cold to go out yet, but the roots were getting too big to keep in the greenhouse.
Then last night we went babysitting for little Marley...Simon loved hanging out with him
